Techie turned passionate advisor
As a financial advisor and self-proclaimed data nerd, my mission is to help you cut through the financial noise, understand your numbers, and design a life of true freedom.
Here's a bit more about how I got here — and why, for me, it was never really just about the numbers.
My journey with money began early, rooted in learnings from my family and a service-oriented church community. As a teenager, I started tithing on every dollar I earned. That practice of giving is where my financial discipline truly began, and it remains a non-negotiable part of my life today. Knowing your numbers isn't just about accumulating wealth — it's about gaining the confidence to plan for the life events, causes, and generosity that matter most to you.
I've always had a passion for math and data. Throughout high school, college, and graduate school, I fell in love with teaching and tutoring. I love taking complex financial concepts and making them simple and understandable. I studied engineering and data science, and began my career working in big tech. As a data scientist I use data to build predictive models and drive decision making — data offers us that same power in our finances.
I don't just teach these principles; I live them. After graduate school, I applied these data-driven strategies to hit the ground running. In just a few short years, I paid off my student loans, purchased a home, and became an out-of-state real estate investor. Financial independence has always been important to me, and by maximizing my income I achieved Coast FIRE along the way.
I was drawn to financial advising because I love the numbers, but I care even more about the people behind them. I have seen the power of careful planning, benefit optimization, and financial awareness in my own life. I strive to bring the same knowledge, care, and impact to each of my clients.
“Your finances should reflect who you are. When you get incredibly clear on what matters to you, your finances fall into place.”
